The CK Group incorporates three other businesses. Each business is governed by strict quality and welfare controls and complies with all industry regulations and we have the skills and experience to supply a quality service and product for all catering needs.

 

C & K Meats Ltd

Our Staff are fully trained in all aspects of food handling and hygiene and to ensure consistency of produce, monitoring regularly takes place by our in-house quality control team. This is supplemented by visits from the relevant statutory bodies.

 

This culture of care ensures that we comply with the very high standards set by European Union and Food Safety Authorities at all times.

 

C &K have now been trading for over 15 years, starting with a very small home butchery, Chris and Kevin Burrows have expanded the company to a purpose built butchery, employing a team of 25 dedicated and fully trained staff.

 

Our modern fleet of 8 refrigerated vehicles deliver throughout East Anglia and with service in mind, delivery times are built around the customer’s requirements where possible. With a range of businesses covering the field to fork ethic, we aim to supply superior quality meats to catering and retail outlets throughout East Anglia.

 

J H Lamberts

The majority of our beef, pork and lamb is supplied by our independently run sister company. J H Lambert has been established for some 40 years and incorporates a highly respected abattoir with full EC Licence. We have 1 fully qualified veterinary professional and three meat inspectors in attendance at all times of operation.

 

The livestock purchases made by J H Lambert are all sourced from local farms in Norfolk and Suffolk including animals from our own farm managed herds of pigs and cattle. By adopting a ‘local produce first’ attitude, we are able to reduce the stress to our animals, make a valuable environmental contribution to reducing food miles (carbon emissions) and support local farmers at the same time.

 

Any produce we cannot obtain locally is purchased from audited and approved sites throughout the UK and the EU.

 

C K Meats - Family Butchers, Diss

Our latest venture of a retail outlet situated in Diss has been a dream realised. Our shop aims to provide Hand picked local quality produce at family prices. Our Pork is sourced from the local Metfield herd of pigs and beef is sourced from our own herd as well as a farm from Roydon and Eyke NR Woodbridge in Suffolk. We strive to supply a local product sourced from within Norfolk & Suffolk. Not only supplying Pork, Beef and Lamb but have available all game birds, Local Venison and exotic meat if not already in the shop can be ordered along with all seasonal meats.

 

J R Creasey

J R Creasey is our high street retail outlet situated in the Turban Centre, just off the High Street in the picturesque Suffolk town of Woodbridge. J R Creasey adds to the 25 years of experience of the Burrows family to provide a wide variety of top quality, over the counter meats as well as a large selection of chilled produce such as cheeses, pâtés and pies all served by our professional and friendly staff. Our aim is to provide a high class product with the emphasis on customer care and satisfaction.
